How do you put a price on the type and quantity of
training and opportunities that will be put in front
of you for a year!?
Each person must complete an in-person
interview with Bob prior to being accepted
into the program. Based on the interview
process, Bob will solely determine if YOU are
initially qualified for additional steps required
to begin your tailored training.
Based on the types of courses selected, licenses
and permits needed, along with other
requirements, the final price for the training
program will be determined.
Here is a rough breakdown of pricing but prices
are subject to change.
Cost of one primary course (fishing, waterfowl,
turkey, or deer) ............................................ $1,500
Cost of each additional course added to your
primary course ............................................ $ 500
(example: you choose fishing as your primary
course and wish to add waterfowl, your total cost
would be $2,000. EXCEPTION: you can take all
courses for $2,500 saving you $500).
Fishing and waterfowl courses require additional
fees for US Coast Guard courses and licensing.
Such costs can be added in to a comprehensive
total or the apprentice can pay for these
out-of-pocket.
All courses, respective fees and details are
covered in the personal interview with Bob prior
to being considered for the program. Selected
aprrentices will sign a legal binding contract prior
to officially beginning courses so that everyone
understands what is to be covered and completed
along with expectations placed on the apprentice
and on Bob. Payment plans are available to
persons who wish to extend their payments
throughout the year or over a few months.

everyone ... BUT is limited to ten (10) people per year! It not
only includes small group attention but also individualized
help from one of the top guides in the nation.
The program includes:
Courses are tailored to the individuals desires for his/her
future guiding. Some may want to guide for all of the
following while others wish to specialize in one or two. Our
apprentice program is available for:

2. Fall
2. Rifle / Shotgun
3. Black Powder
Whatever course(s) you wish to take, your program will last
throughout a calendar year. This is not a one week, one
month, one quarter or one semester deal ... this is a one
year commitment of TGIF Outfitters to train you for a career
in guiding with us, on your own or with another company.
YOU will be in the boat, in the field, in the woods, in the
marsh, in the blinds, scouting, fishing/hunting, doing all
the fun and not-so-fun stuff with Bob throughout the year
as your schedule and his allows. Go to sport shows, visit
sponsors and so much more opportunities to learn all
around your time restraints for one full year.

evaluations. - Gear requirements.
- Inclusion as "field staff" for reviewing sponsor gear
provided to TGIF Outfitters. - Book keeping and tax reporting.
- USCG OUPV Training Course, if applicable.
- USCG License Fees, if applicable.
- WI DNR License Fees.
- US Fish & Wildlife Permit Fees, if applicable.
- License/Permit reporting forms and training.
- Field training with guide and clients.
- TGIF Outfitters hats, shirts and business cards.
- Successful completion earns the apprentice a
contract with TGIF Outfitters!
